Building Bridges of Hope

GiveBastrop.com was founded by three incredibly dedicated and impactful individuals—T.J. Finn, Heather Lyons, and Amberley Palmer—who are deeply involved in both the local community and in supporting meaningful causes. T.J.’s extensive background in mental health and working as certified neuro-psychotherapist and active community leader, and General Manager for Hilton, alongside Heather and Amberley's leadership roles with Hilton and involvement on several important boards, truly reflects their commitment to making a positive difference in Bastrop County.

          It's inspiring to see the three of them bring unique expertise to the platform. T.J.'s work in mental health and her passion for helping others through various community-focused boards such as the Bastrop EDC board, CASA and the Heart of Texas Chamber Board, as well as her published works, adds a depth of knowledge that surely benefits the non-profits listed on the site. Heather's focus on tourism and local engagement, along with her role on the Bastrop Main Street, Visit Bastrop boards, Heart of Texas Chamber Board, shows a strong connection to the community's growth and well-being. Amberley's dedication to the community is shines through in her position on the board of CASA and the Heart of Texas Chamber board, and as a volunteer at Hope House. 

          Their combined efforts with GiveBastrop.com clearly aim to build a stronger, more compassionate Bastrop County by connecting people with the right resources, events, and opportunities.
